Welcome to the project website
The project unites 6 partners (Belgium, Bulgaria, Italy, Lithuania, Romania, Slovenia) , whose share the belief that through civic activation and innovative adult education is possible to provide local people with tools for self-support and this way contribute to development of less advanced rural areas and more competitive Europe.
The project aims to promote active civic involvement into sustainable rural practices for maintaining environment quality and social inclusion. The main expected results: 1) innovative method of involvement of older rural inhabitants in adult education created and used; 2) rural learners are better assisted in development of social, civic, intercultural competencies and entrepreneurship skills in order to adapt to changing Europe and local labor markets; 3) quality of cooperation and best practices transfer between partnering countries enhanced. Partnership is based on active collaboration in implementation of common activities: visits to partner countries including selected sites of best practice examples, thematic seminars for partners and training courses for rural learners. Partners will jointly prepare and widely use several outputs: innovative educational guidelines, project internet site with actively moderated discussion forum, quarterly newsletters, CD of best communities’ practices. Project will develop its monitoring and evaluation method to be applied to all project events and results. |
